NATO Regulatory Pilot Design

At the time of the disintegration of the former Soviet Union, the challenge was posed by the former states, as to what to do with the significant biological, chemical and other weapons stockpiles that were left in their territories. NATO took on the responsibility to assist these former soviet states and THSG was engaged to help.

THSG developed and presented a model for regulatory development processes dealing with international standards, yet relying upon the characteristics of the evolving legal status of the former Soviet Union countries.
